Zucchini & Beets Soup

This recipe is used to clean the blood tissues and keep them intelligent.  Select red beets with greens.  You can use the greens for your Green Protein – they are extremely tasty and nutritious!

 
Ingredients
  • ½ lb (2 cups) red beets, peeled and chopped
  • ½ lb (2 cups) zucchini, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp ground coriander
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp Soma salt or sea salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbs cilantro, minced
 
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, place all ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes until the vegetables are soft (primarily the beets as they take longer to cook than zucchini).
  2. Blend and garnish with cilantro.
